Description

The lightweight »Savanne« hunting boot is ideal for use in dry regions and summer temperatures. It is made of robust canvas and hydrophobic, waxed nubuck leather. Hydrophobic leather has already been treated with a combination of paraffins, silicones, fluorine compounds and polymers during the tanning process. This process increases the surface tension of the leather fibres and makes the leather highly water-repellent. The leather dries faster for better heat regulation and increased breathability. Combined with the lightweight and breathable canvas, the boot is very comfortable to wear. D-ring eyelets and lacing hooks ensure comfortable lacing and optimal fit. The shoe is classically double-flex stitched; the upper, frame and insole are thus joined by a welt seam. The outsole is then applied directly to the insole and the frame, without an additional midsole. This makes the shoe lighter and more flexible. The non-slip treaded sole provides the necessary grip on difficult ground and prevents the feet from overheating, as the material composition prevents the heat of the ground to be transmitted so quickly. The »Savanne« hunting boot is the perfect companion for the summer months, dry climates and urban areas.
