Description
According to mythology, the shrine of »Ise«, dedicated to the sun deity in Japan, was made by the gods themselves. The cleaver’s straight blade has been skilfully forged by the master blacksmith himself for many generations. The sturdy blade with its particularly hard cutting layer of White Paper Steel features immense cutting power and at the same time long-lasting sharpness. Ideal for robust use on thin trunks and heavily wooded shrubs. The slightly forward-tapered handle made of Japanese red oak is well balanced and lies securely in your palm. For long-term protection against moisture, Master Akitomo treats the handle and ferrule with persimmon tannin, a tanning agent extracted from the fruit of the persimmon tree. Comes in a practical, lightweight Kydex protective case with leather belt loop. Double bevel.
