»Diana« Hot Water Bottle, Caramel

Description

With high-quality Fashy hot water bottle

Especially on cold winter days, the »Diana« hot water bottle ensures well-being and comfort.
The extremely fine wool comes from the traditional Austrian company Steiner 1888, which has been producing the finest woollen goods and hard-wearing loden fabrics for over 130 years.
In order to retain warmth for as long as possible and to achieve a high feel-good factor, 100 % mulesing-free merino wool is used for the cover. For high dimensional stability, the virgin wool is not knitted, but fulled. The loden fabric has a very good heat storage capacity and ensures that the hot water bottle stays warm for a particularly long time.
Merino sheep are sheared only once in spring. Their wool is highly crimped, soft, lightweight and very elastic. It is considered the finest quality of sheep's wool in the world due to its fineness and softness.
The skin is particularly sensitive in cold weather or if unwell. The soft loden cover distributes the warmth evenly, provides a pleasant feeling on the skin and additionally protects against burns in case of skin contact.
The large capacity of two litres ensures a particularly long and pleasant heat and thus optimally supports your well-being.
  • Do not heat in the microwave or oven.
  • Do not fill the hot water bottle with any heat-increasing substances such as salt or essential oils
  • Never use a hot water bottle without a cover, as direct contact with the skin can cause burns (for sensitive skin even at temperatures as low as 41 °C)
  • Do not use boiling hot water, even hot tap water can cause scalding. We recommend a maximum water temperature of 50 °C.
  • Slowly fill the hot-water bottle to a maximum of 2/3, holding it vertically at the neck of the bottle to prevent the water from splashing back.
  • Do not fill with too much water, otherwise the hot water bottle may burst.
  • Squeeze out air until the water is visible through the opening.
  • Tighten the screw cap sufficiently and check for leaks.
  • Check the hot water bottle and cap for wear and damage before use. Finally, make sure that the filler funnel is empty.
  • Do not use the hot water bottle as a pillow, do not sit or lie on it.
  • Avoid contact with hot, pointed or sharp objects.

Philipp and Aloisia Stiegler founded the loden mill in Mandling (Germany) in 1888. In 1910, the enthusiastic mountain guide Franz Steiner took over the mill from his uncle Zacharias. One year earlier, he and his brother Irg had been the first to climb the notorious Dachstein south face, a wall over 850 metres high on the southern slope of the Dachstein massif towards Ramsau. The »Steiner Route« named after them is still considered one of the most demanding mountain tours in the Alps. The Steiner family have always been pioneers when it comes to technology. In the mid-1920s Franz Steiner built an electricity plant in Mandling to generate his own electricity. His son Willi Steiner Sr. built a state-of-the-art factory building in 1945 and expanded the manufactory into a full-scale operation. In what is now the 4th generation, Herbert and Johannes Steiner have now taken over the management of the company.
