Description
The »Alte Quetsch« spirit by Birkenhof is a distillate matured in wood. In selected cognac barrels, the distillate interacts with the wood. Different wood aromas are exchanged, of which vanilla notes in particular influence the flavour of the schnapps. In addition to the plum distillate, some dried plums are also added to the wooden barrel, which further intensifies the fruity flavour. The company’s warehouse offers an ideal microclimate for the flavourful development of the »Quetsch« speciality. The elegant brandy has a fine, soft and fruity mid palate and impresses with its successful harmony of fruit and alcohol.
